Waiting on door

We purchased a 2020 jayo seismic 4113 a month ago,and we noticed the door was bent and bad, so we had the dealer request jayco for a new door, and jayco still hasn't delivered the door, a month later and we still can't take the tow hauler home until they get the door and put it on very discussed with the manufacturer jayco.

Why didn't the dealer notice it before they sold it to you??? If it wasn't bent when they took delivery then it had to happen on their lot and it is on their dime and not a warranty issue. So they may be dragging their feet.

First thing you need to do is contact JAYCO to be sure they received the order. It has been known to happen that the dealer says they ordered something when they haven't. Also JAYCO has been known to misplace the order, but for some unknown reason the dealer doesn't follow up.

Secondly JAYCO doesn't stock parts since they arrive about the time a unit going to be built and they will not remove a door from production. Everything has to come from their suppliers so they can't ship it until they get it.

They purchased it when they had just brought it in and we talked with the service department while they were emailing kayo for the door order not dealers fault.

If the order got lost or JAYCO doesn't have it, it can...Somebody needs to follow-up with JAYCO...Obviously your dealer hasn't or they would let you know why they don't have it.

Just curious, is this the garage or side entry door?

During my PDI it was noted that my side entry door needed replacement before I could take the TT off the lot. The RV dealership new I was departing with my new TT on an extended trip in 10 days so their warranty claims manager stated that it would be faster to contact the supplier (Lippert) directly and process the warranty claim....., that's what they did.

Lippert shipped the new door directly to the RV dealership...., Jayco wasn't involved.

We have been working with the dealer and they have checked every time we've asked so not dealers fault
