Wash RV on the road?

Where do you wash your RV when you're on the road? We stayed at a campground last week that encouraged us to wash our rv there, so we did, but I understand that is a rare thing.

YouTube Channel "Changing Lanes" has a really good video about how to wash as a full-timer and their experiences learning the ropes as full-timers:

A few of the private CGs we've stayed at have had advertisements for local RV detail companies that will come out to your site and wash/wax your RV for you.

These facilities typically forbid you actually doing it yourself, but they're more than happy to recommend a local vendor to come out and do it for you.

At least one of my local mobile RV repair guys does cleaning/washing/detailing as well. Typically they charge by the linear foot.

I've also heard of some RVers using Blue Beacon facilities (truck washes) to clean their rigs, but I haven't done this.

If you travel in the northern provinces or Alaska you will be washing your rig. Chip seal has a lot of oil in it and mucky clay can harden and render somethings inoperable.
Getting gunk off the black tank drain was interesting once.. It had hardened.. this is one of those must operate things.. Stairs once got so gummed up they would not go down.

Do-It-Yourself Car washes. Many have an oversized bay.

Out of 20 car washes on our 7K mile 2 month trip, only two had provision to wash RVs. In both cases, they were the same thing as the "wand" car washes have. And charged as much or more for less well kept equipment. I did see a preponderance of Truck Washes that now advertise for both Trucks and RV's. Most of these, you pay a fee and they have people take the rig into an enclosed bay and wash it. Did not check out the cost.
