Watching A Camper Lose Control And Flip Over Right In Front Of You Is Scary Stuff

Watching A Camper Lose Control And Flip Over Right In Front Of You Is Scary Stuff - Digg

It would be very interesting to know the particulars of the load distribution and hitch setup. There is a bunch of stuff on the rear bumper but obviously the weight is hard to tell.

This was here in Washington, on I-82 headed into Yakima to be exact. A notoriously windy area to say the least, the stuff on the back includes 6 patio chairs and a chest freezer (can we say IDIOT) He was obviously exceeding any and all safe towing speeds considering he passed a Semi doing 65-68MPH like it was standing still according to the GPS data on the video. This guy did EVERYTHING wrong. Hopefully he will not ever get the idea to try towing stuff again. He never accounted for the wake of the semi or anything. I hope everyone survived without injury, but physics has a funny way of showing people their stupidity eventually.

I only posted the thread links as a courtesy reference for JOF members & visitors that may be interested in viewing what other members have posted in response to the same subject matter.
