Water Heater Not Working

HOT WATER HEATER
Hi, My van (3 years old) is fitted with a Gas/Electric Suburban hot water heater. I am having problems with the water not heating hot enough, this is only when operating on 240 volts, as the gas operation seems ok. I am thinking that the thermostat may need replacing or can someone tell me if there is any adjustment that can be made to the thermostat. Thank you.

Hey Coogs6! Welcome to the forum. Do you have a model number on your water heater? I assume you have one of those down under models not sure if they are the same as ours. Personally mine does not have an adjustable thermostat.

Have you checked your circuit breakers? If you tripped one you might be only getting half the volts.

Thank you Terry, I have since done some checking and found out the thermostat is not adjustable, I'm not too sure what to do. the water heats up ok but it's not very hot. I will probably just have to stick to gas which is ok.
