Water Pressure

Hi all. We have 2019 Greyhawk and hot water pressure is nil even on full. Have lots of cold pressure but as soon as hot is added it drops about 70%. We have checked hose filters sediment all things found on line. Are considering changing shower hose but if we have full pressure on cold ??? We have lots of hot water for 2-3 showers. Any suggestions

Could be a bad check valve on the hot side, there have been numerous posts about the problem. Also do you have full pressure at the sinks? If yes sounds like a bad shower valve assembly.

Water Pressure

Full flow everywhere but shower. Shower never had great pressure but this year it’s bad. Will Google check valve to see if that helps. Thanks Grumpy

If good everywhere else it is the shower valve, not the check valve. Could have some debris stuck on the hot side.

Agree - if everything else is fine - BUT the shower, then that's where you start. It probably won't be a fun DIY job.

Start here:

As Grumpy says: if the problem exists only at the shower, the problem is the shower valve or possibly an issue in the hot water line to the shower valve (though that is unlikely.)
You should be able to remove the valve body without removing the entire fixture from the wall. It's common for construction debris to clog valves.
Many of us have replaced the shower valve and lavatory faucets because the factory products are so crappy. If you have to take the entire thing off, it might be just as well to replace it while you have it off. (etrailer.co now has a line of replacement RV fixtures.

Let us know what you find.
