Water pump not wirking

Fill my water take up and turned on water pump and hear it running but not pumping. Do I need to prime it?

Is your water heater empty? It takes a few minutes to fill before you get good water flow from the faucets. Try opening a hot water faucet and try again....might take 2-3 minutes for the heater to fill. Doesn't need to be primed.

. No problem. Just hope you didn't turn it on empty....the heating element will burn out on an empty tank.
