Wax
So I wanted to figure out the best wax for me to use on my trailer which I have had for a year. I came on to do a search on the forum as this must be a topic that has been done to death and I figured I would get what I want from that. It must of been because I can not find a search term that will actually return any results I then decieded to start a manual search after 8 pages of the general forum I gave up. So it looks like I will have to start yet another thread.
I would specifically like a wax that I only have to apply once a year, with UV protection being the most important. I am open to paying for a high quality of wax. I have the aluminium siding so a simple spray on wipe off would be best. Any good recommendations out there.

There have been a few different threads on waxes each year.
Historically I hate waxing any type of vehicle.
Since new, I had been using McGuire's Ultimate wash and wax. It works but nothing special. Last year I used McGuire's Paint Protect on my truck. It beaded up nicely for 11 months. No clue if it has any UV protection. I put it on the TT. I learned from the truck you just need a tiny bit, and it goes a long ways.
Some people have stated they use Aerospace 303, as it has UV protectants. My TT, still looks as good as new, and I have done nothing special

X2. If I can't get it at Wal-Mart, it won't be waxed.

I’ve been using Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze One Step Cleaner/Wax for boats and RVs after washing it with Meguiar’s car wash. It touts UV protection and seems to last a long time. Where we live, we have several months with 100* -110* days and this wax seems to hold up well. Cleanings after the season’s initial wax job are easy and the bugs come right off. I wax right over the decals and I think the TT looks as good as it did new two years ago. It’s as easy as any liquid wax I’ve used — apply and buff off.

Turtle Wax Ice gets rave reviews on this forum. I may have to try it and add yet another wax to my arsenal.

I started researching the Meguiars ceramic and surprisingly found that the TW Ice Seal and Shine (black bottle) is a better wax than the Meguiars or Chemical Guys spray wax. It lasts longer and is cheaper.
I bought 2 bottles at Walmart for about $7 each and have used them for the summer and they are surprisingly great!
Back to the OP, I'm not sure if there is a true 1 year wax anymore. Turtle Wax paste used to be considered a 1 year wax, but they don't make that anymore (that I know of). Nufinish is marketed as a once a year wax, but its not really a wax (more of a sealant) and its thin consistency makes it annoying to apply to an aluminum trailer. I'm curious too see if you get legit recommendations, because I'm not the kind of guy that washes and waxes vehicles often. A once a year application would be of interest to me.

Sounds like I should go with either the Turtle was ice seal and shine or the Maguires Hybrid Ceramic Spray on. From look at both they have a very similar applications so I will have to figure out which one to go with.
Thanks for the info once I make a decision I will post here what I get.

I used Protectall on RVS cars and my airplane for 20 years and it offered excellent protection as a wax and for UV. I am wondering if the formulation changed in recent years as it just doesn't seem as easy to apply.

I decided to go with the Maguires, with a spray on it sounds easy enough that I would be willing to do it more often as needed. Thanks for all the help.

Just be sure it is safe for decals. A lot of waxes will ruin them.

Consider Aero spray on wax...I Wash my MH, then spray on Aero, wipe dry..great shine. Did the toad (black H Fit), and marked difference in color and luster. The fit has been out in the elements, and still beads. Amazon has competitive price on a gallon. Entire MH (Greyhawk 29 MV), 2004 Tundra, H Fit, and..the wife's car, and still 1/2 gal left. Highly recommend!

We use Rejex which is not a wax but a polymer type coating. I only apply once a year. Wipe on wipe off no buffer needed. They also sale a wash that works great with the Rejex. Not cheap (Rejex) but worth it. We also do the auto's with it. I do not work for them but we also use black tank treatment called Hammerhead, the best that I have found this is also sold by Rejex (corrosion technologies).

Turtle wax seal 'n shine is getting huge accolades by youtubers in the business. I absolutely love the stuff, and it is priced well less than almost anything else. Spray on, wipe off, done.
F11 is pure marketing, it is crap, and lasts about two weeks.
