Marks that are not scratches (like from a black rubber shoe sole) can be removed with WD40.
My father-in-law loved the stuff and even claimed to use it on pie (not that I believe everything he said).
I've used it on boat fiberglass with good results in years past but wouldn't spray/wipe and walk away. Pre-cleaning WD40 as part of the TT washdown would work. I'd expect it to take off the wax tho.
Used to be made with fish oil I believe, not a clue what's in it now. As I recall it was the 40th formulation of a "Water Displacement" (WD - get it?) product for the government.
