Just doing a little refit (to borrow a Navy term) before heading out again. However, the next outing will not be a huge continuous event.
Every fall, a bunch of us Va Tech fans tailgate together for all the home games, and several of the road games.
Usually they are two night affairs, but we start with a road trip to Tallahassee (FSU) (game on Monday night), then have a short week to get back to Blacksburg, plus another home game the following weekend. Instead of driving all the way back to home (Richmond area), we'll just spend the week at Smith Mountain Lake. We have a couple of friends who have places on the lake.
So we will be on the road from Thursday, August 30 until Sunday, September 16. After that, it will just be 2 day trips.
