Weber Q 220 to Jayco Quick Connect

Mine did. Make sure you can put your hand on the box with the grill and verify the hose is there with the quick connects on each end, male one end female on the other.
Also verify the combo bracket for hanging it on the trailer or sitting on a table is with it.

3. Put a female quick connect on the regulator, and a hose that connects to a standard propane tank (in case I want to use the BBQ without the trailer)
4. Purchased the "special rv male adapter" from the RV store. The female end on the trailer is not a standard air hose fitting, you need to purchase the appropriate male fitting from your local RV shop.
5. Made a hose with with a standard female fitting on one end that connects to the male quick connect on the weber Q and put the special RV male end on the other side of the hose to connect to the RV quick connect.

Quantum that is a great idea. I never thought of putting a male end into the regulator so I could use the BBQ without the trailer with a little disposable propane bottle if I want. Now I have to go I out to the garage and try and find my regulator.

Quick disconnect for propane

Does anyone out there now what brand of quick disconnects Jayco uses for the grill outlet? I have the female on the unit and need a male that fits and can't read what the brand is. I bought one from CW and it does not fit.

I just bought a camco 10' extension and it worked fine. I converted my weber with the fitting from the sidekick grill that came with the motorhome.

According to the hose I have it says "Cast Products Corp. use 829000 plug only". Good luck with that. I finally gave up and got a 10' extension that I hook up directly to one of the 30# tanks. I also got a plug at CW that did not fit. For some reason the brass was thicker and would not plug into the female fitting.

I bought a ten foot quick connect hose from amazon (one end male, one end female) and it fit perfectly. Perhaps I was just lucky. I bought this one:
Campco 57282 on Amazon.

My weber Q100 does great without doing any mods to it. It does not get as hot, takes a little longer heating up but other than that works great. The reason I don't want to change the reg out is that I still use the 1 pound bottles and I want all the options that I can do.

I have a Q220. Do not use it with the Jayco gas outlet. I like to put it on a picnic table and use a 1.4 gal propane tank, which has the same fitting as a regular 20 or 30 lb. tank.

So the regulator stays on the grill. Found a 15' hose at Home Depot that will fit the grill and the tank. I have a stand for the grill if there is no picnic table and can hook it to one of the tanks on the front of the trailer if necessary.
