We pay $40/mon. for a fenced, graveled, back-in site that's open business hours on 6 days/week in suburban Milwaukee; the place is about 15" from our house. My neighbor, who has a motorhome, said that was the cheapest spot in the area. My neighbor parked his MH last year in an open field and had mice -- never again, he said.

I need to start looking at cheaper options. Paying $154 per month, no cover, no electric, no dump, not even adequate video, just a gate and within a mile of home.
And it's not like I live in a big city or something.
Based on what others are reporting here, I'm getting reamed.

Interesting topic. ironically enough, we became RV owners because of a storage lot. The sign company I work for moved to a new facility in May of 13. We started leasing a buliding that is located in an RV Storage facility. I saw this neglected Kiwi 17A sitting there just screaming "Help me". Told the DW about it and with her blessing we were the second owners of a nice trailer that only needed a little TLC. Anyway, back on topic. When we first started leasing the storage it was less than $60 a year and shortly after that they did some refurbishing of the lot and lo and behold, the rent went to $80 a month. That's when I discovered it would fit in my driveway so we are saving that money now. I have a sloped driveway so it is always an adventure hooking /unhooking but worth the savings.

I found a place about 10 minutes from home that charges $1.25 per foot for outdoor storage, and $2.50 per foot for indoor storage. If I go for winter seasonal storage (Nov 1 to Apr 30), they will throw in October for free. It's a locked fenced compound and access is by appointment only. This is all just fine by me, and seven months' storage, taxes in, is just over $220. I just call them up in the fall to make an appointment, they tell me where to park it, and it stays there all winter, out of sight, out of mind.
I used to store our old hybrid at the dealer's lot, but they retired and went out of business, and the new owners of the land -- a used car dealer -- was offering storage for the RV dealer's customers and a much higher rate. They were at the other end of the city, but I didn't mind that since the RV dealer had treated me very well over the years, but I wasn't going to go all that way just to pay more money to a stranger. So I had to find a new place. This storage facility nearby was one of the first ones I found.
The Jayco dealer we bought our Jay Flight from is 3.5 hours away, and the rates they're offering aren't too bad. But the fuel costs alone would be more than what I'm paying at the storage yard, so that eliminates that possibility. I even recommended this place to a co-worker, and now he stores his trailer there!

$100/winter. Its worth it not to have it plowed in here at home. Our dealer does the storage gated outside.
Otherwise we store at home.

$83/month for uncovered. 24 hr gated access, video monitored, dump station (a must in my opinion) and it's exactly 4.1 miles from my driveway.

We pay $500.00 yearly ($41.66 monthly) at the dealer's storage lot, which is approx. 22 miles from home. Lot is 3/4 mile from the dealer but they do offer free pickup & return for any warranty work and/or inspection work.

We pay $440 per year for a fenced/gated lot. Believe me, that's a steal for the SF bay area. As a Lockheed Martin retiree, I'm allowed to use their employee lot so we have our Jayco 25BHS, Coleman tent trailer & Wells Cargo cargo trailer stored there. Fortunately the tent trailer & cargo trailer fit into one space (for another $440 per year ).

Local lot we kept the new trailer at for a couple months while finally leveling the parking spot at my wife's grandmothers was $40/month for gravel, uncovered, pull through site, gated, keypad access, but no water or dump station. Maybe 5 min away pending traffic and stop lights.
Wanting to keep the new trailer as nice as possible we are storing it inside at a local county fairgrounds, $70/month, concrete floor for the winter. It is maybe 20 min away....

We pay $89 a month for a paved 40' uncovered space in a gated storage lot, with access to a wash bay on the premises.

We have ours in a secure storage facility for 45$ a month. We have a 24FBS and are thinking about paying the extra 15$ a month for pull through. Just don't like that it is 20 minutes away from our house. We are 40 miles NW of downtown Atlanta.

Before we moved and were able to keep it here at home, we were in a gravel, gated lot with cameras and security codes to get in, back in site, no water or dump station. About 10 miles from home for $25 a month. But that is rural North Carolina.
