What brand of tow dolly?

We’re planning on buying a new tow dolly in the next few months.
We have a 2014 Redhawk 26xs, and will be towing our Hyundai Elantra.

We’d appreciate some recommendations for a good quality brand name. Hoping to keep the price around $1500-1700.

Thanks in advance!

I had never good luck with "Tow Dolly's" , tires wear to fast. An auto-ambulance is better

Sorry, didn't switch my brain from Europe to North America....lol; car or truck ambulance, some use enclosed trailers.
Some can pitch in why they went away from the dolly's.

Bought our Roadmaster 2000-1 tow dolly w/electric brakes in 2007 when we bought a 2008 Hyundai Elantra. Towed it first with a 2006 Fleetwood Tioga 31M, Then in 2013 the Seneca. No problems. Put a new set of tires on it in 2013. We full time and pulled the toad all around the country. Bought a new 2018 Elantra in 2017. No problems with this one either. Just don't try to back up, because the dolly will go where the dolly wants to go. We also added the rock guard and spare tire to the dolly. I use a Doran TPMS and added sensors to the dolly and Elantra rear tires.

Personally, I'd get a small car that can be flat towed.

From what I’ve heard tow dollies are banned on the New Jersey Turnpike, that may start a trend

While I have never flat towed, I have a Kar Kaddy SS and am very pleased with it. The SS model has the tongue arm that folds. Combine that with the folding ramps and it folds up into a pretty small footprint. I keep two cars in my garage and still have room for my SS. Just completed a 5k mile trip in March and it performed flawlessly. No apparent abnormal tire wear. It's a little pricier than what you specified but if you shop around on the internet you can find good deals. I bought mine used, but the used ones did not start showing up on the internet until mid-September. It is a steerable model, so your steering wheel must remain locked.
