What if you like a floorplan but dislike its model name?

What if you like a floorplan but dislike its model name?

For example,
Hurricane: cause damages
Leprechaun: mischievous, cause harms

Why do RV manufacturers like to use these as brand/model names? IMO, they should use names everybody loves, at least not meaning a bad way.

Like a floorplan that is available on dealer's lot, but dislike its model name. Can order a similar floorplan from factory, but have to wait for several months. What is your take?

Honestly the model name plays no role in my decision about purchasing a rv.

Get a nice decal that can cover up the model name if it bothers you

Speaking of names:

Your ID: "Bright Sky" is my Mohawk native name translated from Iroquois Mohawk. My Mohawk name is Tioronhia'te.

Good idea. model name is on the front cap and walls, quite big. Any decal such big, opaque, completely covering the name? Is it legal to cover the name (and rv company domain) with other brand name such as XYZ.com?

You're paying for it so you can remove all the decals if you want! A lot easier while the it's new. I hate when I see RVs with the company's damn website plastered across the back of it. That's about as tacky as you can get

Just remove the decals. Only problem will be re-sale or trade, money out the window.... Or spend a lot of money and get it wrapped. No legal issues what so ever.

Could be trademark, patent or copyright infringement to use someone else’s name without permission

The model name is not a decal, I think it is painted as part of RV body paint. Can it be easily removed without any damage?

Anything is possible, but I doubt it. Probably a decal applied on top of paint.

When you order a RV from factory, can you request not to put model name on it, but put on whatever graphics you request? It is not listed as an option right now. When an airline company orders airplanes from Boeing, the airline name instead of Boeing is painted on airplanes.

I removed all the lettering decals (Jayco and Melbourne)on mine with no issues. Cant see how it will hurt resale or trade in-value any more than normal mileage and time hits we take.

Can they be easily peeled away? any damage to the paint underneath? Buyers might not be able to tell it is a Jayco. You can put the decal back before you plan to sell it.
