What is your ladder of choice?

I'm looking for a ladder that I can use to access higher points on our Jayco. Need something in addition to the roof ladder mounted on the back of the camper. I need to inspect the upper refrigerator compartment (our fridge is in a slide) and need a ladder. Also want to be able to treat the slide seals and wax the trailer. Looking for a ladder that I can lean against the trailer without scratching the siding instead of a tripod type step ladder due to uneven ground around the camper. Need something that is also fairly easy to carry. Appreciate the feedback.

I bought this a couple of years ago. It’s just 30 pounds so not terribly heavy and telescopes nicely to fit in the pickup bed. I’ll throw a towel between it and the roof edge for protection. It has worked well. I see, like a lot of stuff lately, it’s unavailable but there are others at places like Harbor Freight , Lowes etc.

Same here, I wrapped the sides at the top two rungs on mine with sections of pool noodle to stop the sliding. I just store it with those two rungs extended. The only caveat is a 12.5' is not really tall enough for climbing onto and off the roof of a class A, really need a 14' or so.

I have one similar to this:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Gorilla-...A-18/309832564

It extends to 16’ and when folded will sit sideways just in front of the tailgate. I also pad the rails with pool noodles.
