I'm replacing my winegard head with a king Jack this weekend. I'll see how it works out.

I did the same a while back, made a difference but nothing too dramatic as far as I can tell so far.

The Wingman is reputed to be one of the best. Also highly rated is the Jack. I have the Jack and I'm very happy with it. In one place we frequent we got 3 stations with the standard batwing, with the Jack we get 10.

I think you'd be happy with either.

We use the BATWING with the added DIPOLES for UHF.

Gets the OTA CLEAR STATIONS just great for us here on the East side of the US. A better photo here showing the DIPOLES from GOOGLE.

Have played with the JACK and after awhile went back to the BATWING

The BEST ANTENNA I had before the DIGITAL NATL BROADCAST changeover happened was one of LOWES $90 HOME YAGI antenna but it finally got destroyed setting up and taking down so many times. It also was so large it hit trees when I rotated it haha...

Of late I have been experimenting with a DB8 BOW TIE array to use on the OFF-ROAD POPUP. Right now it is setup for the house and is doing an outstanding job picking up DIGITAL UHF stations 50 miles away from Washington C an Richmond VA. great. Haven't tried it yet in the OFF ROAD mode trails around here.

Had the Batwing with added UHF dipoles. Went to King Jack and will never go back to Winegard Batwing. IMHO, much, much better reception with Jack and many more stations too.

That's what I also found with the Jack.
