Wow, I love that flagpole with the solar light! That definitely stands out. In fact, I'm really into all the different lighting ideas in this thread. Definitely going to explore some of these.

I guess what makes our site unique (other than the sheer amount of STUFF that we always seem to have with us) is the fact that it's pretty Irished out - shamrock awning lights, Irish flag and a green RV mat. We do love our Irish ancestry. :hihi:

There was the one year that we brought the inflatable playhouse for the kids and had that on our site. Along with the ****** pool. This year we set up a bar outside and I brought my Vitamix and spun out frozen ****tails. That was extra fun!

I have these neat "vintage" ice cream cone lights that people ask me where I got them. I've had these for well over 25 years and they still look good.

Kids seem to like 'em! :lizard:

I wish someone would hook me up with the vintage Owl lights. I can't find them anywhere online. That's one of my most vivid memories of camping in our pop up when I was a wee lass. That and oddly, the dishpan for handwashing outside and the colors on the handle of the gas lighter. We didn't have gas at home, so the thing with the blue flame always fascinated me. (No, I never played with it!)

I love rope lights and a lot of them. On my old 19 H I would wrap them around the awning poles around the front of the camper and underneath. Trust me, the Hubble telescope could see me from space. Many people would stop and talk and comment on the display. I always made sure I shut them off at a decent hour so I would not upset anyone. I buy all my rope lights at the end of the Christmas season. They are durable, never had a strand go out and I currently have 60 feet I string every time we go. I have to come up with a new plan now that the 19H is gone and the new 228 has a electric awning...........a lot of thinking to do.

Check out E-Bay. I saw a few listings for them, here's one: BTW, they won't be cheap.

Oh ho! There they are! Definitely not cheap. I also like those big globe lights with the coiled cord. Kind of the modern version of those cool 70s lights I guess.

**Hey, can anyone recommend hardware to hang the lights from on my awning? I was using clothespins on the pop up, but not that I've got a big boy awning, I'm seeing a lot of different options out there, from hooks to long tracks that you slide into the slot at the end of the awning. Which is the easiest to use?
