-17 this morning. I like how my Chevy insults my intelligence by displaying a message saying something about "danger of frozen slippery driving conditions". Then shows temp of -17. woulda never figured dat aut

This is the coldest winter I have seen since I started full timing in 2010. I did see 13F at night a couple of times during 2010, but this past week I saw 9F one night and this morning 8F. I am warm and cozy and use a 150 gallon external propane tank when on my winter home base. Oh, my interior temp is now 72F. I turn the thermostat down at night.

I keep my fresh water tank full, 87 gallons, and top it off when needed during the day. Tomorrow I can hook it back up for about a week according to the forecast.

I am ready for spring however.

I know you Canada guys see this stuff all year round, but it was -2 here this morning, coldest I have ever recorded here. My water pump was froze, thawed that out first thing. Arrrgghh.
