What SHOULD come standard on all trailers?

OK, let`s hear your opinions on what SHOULD come stock/standard on all trailers but many times do not.

We dropped $700 the day we picked up our RV..
Water hose, wheel chicks, surge protector, leveling pads, too many gadgets to mention.. But out of all of them I guess I would think a water hose would be a basic item that I think should be part of the standard equipment..

I wouldn't want to pay for all of those things you listed. I had them from my old trailer.

We gave our first trailer to a deserving young couple with no money, sold the second one for a give away price to another young couple.. We ended up throwing in all the basic equipment which we knew they couldn't afford... So I guess their trailers did come with all those items standard..

I agree with Tracy.

Everything should be an option so I could get the items I want and not items I don't need.

Many dealerships will give you a beginners kit with a few items like sewer and water hose.

I think what we are looking for here are things that are part of the RV itself, such as the previously mentioned wall switches or for example DSI gas/electric water heater as opposed to one with a pilot light. Not things like wheel chocks or sewer hoses that we may already have.

Power tongue jack. Best option ever, but everyone should get to find that out.

Quality ceiling vent fans and a quiet stove vent fan are high on my list.

Having an switch to open the kitchen ceiling vent in a fifth wheel should be standard.

Cooling and heating vents in the bath room.

Ok.. If its stuff attached to the trailer.. They should all come with a screen door bar and that little black gizmo that opens the screen door without having to slide the plastic piece across.

I think an outdoor grill attachable to the outside of the unit would be nice as std equipment, to give the DW a break from cooking and keep the heat outside.

Black Tank flush kits, scare lights, Fans to help keep the fridge cool in summer. vent hoods over the cook stove to help keep the interior cool while cooking. I am sure I missed some but.............. This is what I came up with. Ernie

It's amazing how many of you missed the greatest item that should be standard.

A FRIDGE FULL OF COLD BEER OF YOUR CHOICE! It's the least thing they could do.

If that's not possible then the screen door handle should be standard because it's something that everyone would use and benefit from. Some of the other things suggested will work for some people, but not for others. The screen door handle would work for everyone.
