What TV wall mount came on or did you use for your TT?

The search feature did me no favors as I tried many search terms with little results.

My BH did not come with a TV or TV mount. I did reach out to Jayco to get the dimensions of the wall backing plate. It is basically 12"x17"x5/8".

I was curious to know what kind of mounting hardware they used to attach the bracket to the wall? What size TV? I would also be interested to see what mount / hardware and size TV you may have installed as well.

I am just having reservations on what type of hardware would be suitable to hang the mount and TV from on just a piece of 5/8" plywood. Seems the hardware could not exceed 3/4 of an inch with out piercing the bunk side wall panel.

Any info of photos would be much appreciated.

Thank you for the reply and link. I looked at you other mods as well but your A/C mod link took me to a thread in the Welcome mat.

My HTT came with a TV/Mount already installed on top of the Fridge. I don't know who the geniuses are that think a mount that is 5ft in the air without a tilt-down feature is a good idea.

It's solid, attached to the shelf surface, Not the wall, I can unlock and swing the mount/TV left and right but in order to watch it from the sofa, you need to look up :-(

Makes it difficult to enjoy anything. So I went out and bought one of these. My hope is to take the TV off the existing mount, attach this bracket to the existing plate and then mount the TV back on to this. It should allow me then to tilt the tv up/down.

I have no idea what Jayco used for the existing mount and I have no documentation for it. No markings on the existing mount.
