Whats under the Jayco x20e couch? Take out?

HI everyone,
Looking at getting the Jayco x20e .. But one problem. My husband is disabled and needs to sleep in a recliner/lazyboy. I love the Jayco x20e so I was wondering if I could take out the couch and replace with a couple of recliners?

Does anyone know if it is just flat floor under the couch or does it have a high ledge?

Its a flat floor at the front edge of the couch. We considered pulling the board off the front under the couch to use it for traveling storage. But I'd have to look at it more to see how the couch is attached to the slide.

We have an x20e and love it, perfect floor plan for us.

Never tried to pull off the front panel under the couch to see what's behind it, but have been curious to see if it's another storage spot.

We just traded in our 2012 X20E, it is a great floorplan. Gave us all the room we needed. Wonder if you could speak to Jayco to see if they could put something else, such as recliners, in its place. Do to the reason, it may be worth a try.

There is a heat duct, large bunch of electrical cables, PLUS the motor and drive assembly for the slide. Not much usable space.
