What's your "big trip" planned for this summer?

We are taking our summer trip to Kentucky from Texas this summer for vacation. Stopping in Memphis to see Elvis' house and then on to Mammoth Cave. Returning home and stopping by to dig for diamonds at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas.

What do you have planned?

Sounds like a great trip you have planned. We're looking forward to being able to pick up our new Eagle Premier 351RSTS sometime around mid-May. That's a nice ride up and back but we'll likely head west and hit a few more places before we come home.

We are staying in Missouri for our big trip but heading out for a week. We are going to Johnson's Shut Inns and Pomme de Terre Lake with lots of sightseeing planned in those areas.

Have fun in Memphis!! I'm not a big Elvis fan but my wife dragged me to Graceland and I really enjoyed it!

Taking a two-week trip from Peoria, IL to visit a friend in Fremont, NH in June. Stopping at Niagra Falls on the way out, spending 4-5 days at the friend's house (they have a water/electric site on their property and are having a mini-rally for Father's Day), then heading home via Hyde Park, NY. My gal-friend wants to stop by the Culinary Institute of America, there, and we will also visit the Aerodrome, FDR's home, and the Vanderbilt mansion. Should be a fun trip!

We haven't done a Big Trip in years. Our jaunts are 4-5 days now, but we're looking forward this year to taking the new TT (which we hope to pick up in June) to Colorado for the Longs Peak Highland Games in Estes Park. It's exciting for us 'cause it's a two-day drive, and so far, we've stayed in motels on the way up and back 'cause the PUP takes so long to set up and take down. This year we'll be able to stay in the TT the whole way. It'll be 10 nights total, and we're already psyched. :-)

This summer we are hitting the road for 31 days going from central Canada all the way to Vancouver Island with stops in each province along the way. On the way home we are going down though Washington, Montana, SD and Mn. Really looking forward to the trip. Last summer we went east all the way to PEI and had a blast. My kids are excited to say they will have travelled coast to coast across Canada. Lets hope gas prices stay relatively low through the summer.

Cape Cod to Yellowstone via South Dakota and the Black to Yellow Route 14 in Wyoming. South to the Tetons, then southeast through Colorado before heading back east and home. Have to fill in the missing states in the middle of my map!
