We bought the trailer to use all the facilities. We use Charmin, dump black when full. Had this trailer for 6 years this Jan and no problems. I make sure everything is cleaned out when I dump. I have talked to a lot of people with high dollar motor homes and they don't want to go in their bathrooms neither, they will walk over to the bathrooms in the campground.

Couldn't be more true. Now, all you people that stink up the dumpster area because you put your used toilet paper in a Walmart bag and discard listen up and don't be afraid to let it go!

Yeah, I was just kiddin' around with that last statement. I completely agree with why you guys don't flush your TP. RV's can be a PITA sometimes and a clog free black tank is just one less thing to worry about.

Whatever my wife buys at Sams Club for our house, I think it comes in a package the size of a dog house.

Have had no problems. I dump the water from my dish pan down my toilet and also make sure I put water back in the tank after dumping it before I use it.
I just started shooting a little Dawn in there when I put the chemical in and before I add the water and that seems to help my gauges read better.

We use Charmin Ultra after watching this video and trying the test ourselves. The other key to making it work is plenty of water with the flush.

I use the same as at the house. I saw several tests on the internet, and the worse TP still dissolved in less than an minute.

On another forum a few years ago, the same thing came up, and a sanitary engineer chimed in. He said "gees guys, its a holding tank, not a septic system. If it goes down the toilet, it will come out the dump valve, it could be something that doesn't break down at all, like golf balls, doesn't matter". Kind of brought it into perception for me.

My thought is to have enough water to keep it all liquid, and not cake up.

We use the leaves of the mullein plant, corn lily, thimbleberry, large leaf aster, or wooly lambs ear depending upon which part of the country we are in.

Agree completely. Northern Quilted and never a problem in 6.5 years full time.

Favorite paper? Well, whatever is on the roll when I need it.
To be serious, Scotts. Never had a problem in 30+ years.

Also, the mid-line stuff from Sam's Club. 8 rolls to a pack. 6 or 8 packs to a bag. "Doghouse size"

Grab a roll or 2 for the trailer as needed. Keep 3 spare rolls before heading out for a long weekend.

#1, #2 or in between. Lots of water to clear the bowl.

Dump station is 5 miles from the campsite. So the bulk of the stuff drains easily!

We use the following method.

Take on sheet of any kind of toilet paper, fold it in quarter, (fold in half, then in half again) tear the middle corner off, then unfold. This will create a hole in the exact center of the sheet. Stick your finger through the hole and wipe with the finger, use the sheet to then wipe off the finger. Discard the sheet and your are good to go!!!!

lol

Prefer clean unused paper when the urge comes. I refuse to give an intelligent answer to such a question. Sorry. This stuff is going down a pipe at the dump station at a campground so Who Cares?? You're not going to clog up your septic tank, maybe someone elses but again, Who Cares?

The only thing we care about is that Camco T-paper dissolves as soon as you look at it and is really sandpaper!
