Well....low retail is $3k more than what we paid for ours almost 2 years ago, so I'd say that's a win.

Anyone interested in buying a lightly used Hummingbird, I'll make ya a heck of a deal!

Don't even need to open that link. Figure 5-6k less than I paid a year ago.

Ok... I took the bait. Avg retail was about 6K less as I figured.

We paid $15,000.00 for ours used. That would have been about 8 years ago or so.
Now only worth $5,500.00. They were off on the weight however. Ours weighs 8,500 lbs. They are saying 6,300 lbs...??

The NADA base price, at low retail, with no options added, are closer to what trailers typically sell for in our area---if they sell at all. It's a bit sobering just how many folks give up and trade 'em in (or wholesale them) to a local dealer at ~25% off low retail (again, low retail with no options added).

I scratch my head when folks try to sell their trailer at the NADA base price, average retail, with every "option" possible tacked-on to the base price (with most of these so-called "options" being standard to begin with) believing the NADA prices are gospel.

You have to read the NADA guidelines as stated. Most upgrade packages are built into the base price. If you go down and add them in again, it inflates the value and deflates you when you try and sell it at the inflated price.

I could not find the king bed option or the 2nd AC on NADA for my rig and the Sticker price they had was in the ball park. After 6 years mine is worth about 1/2 half what I paid for it.

I know they are not an investment and I never had one that appreciated in value.

That about sums it up. Or be ok with losing lots of $$. On a new model anyway.
