Wheel bearings service...???...

What can you share about servicing the wheels bearings?
I have a 2016 Melbourne. It has 16,000 miles. I live in the dry southwest, in New Mexico.
Is this a service that you would recommend? I will take the RV to a truck-tire shop that I trust...

That information is probably in your RV material but if not the Internet is a wealth of information for the search. The numbers I recall were 5000 miles or once a year which ever comes first. Here is a site with some info:

If I am correct you are talking about a Motorhome, not a trailer. The rear wheel bearings are taken care of by the rear axle gear oil, no greasing involved there. The front wheel bearings should be good for a lot more than 16,000 miles, but refer to the specifications for the manufacturer of the chassis. I presume Mercedes?

And for motor homes it is suggested that the bearings and oil system be checked once a year.

The front may be unit type that are sealed which means no servicing.
Replace when they go bad.
