Salisbury Beach State Park Ma. Supposed to have our first "hot" weather over the weekend so might as well camp out at the beach. Get some more surf casting in.

Tent camping this weekend at Mississippi Palisades State Park with my twin son's Boy Scout Troop. Does that count?

Thanks Kim, the menu looks great! Yes, this park is as laid back as you can get. Very quiet for being right off the interstate.

Took a long weekend at the KOA at Shipshewana, IN. For a bad weather forecast we got lucky. Rained one night, cloudy two days and one beautiful day and one OK day. Hit the shops in Shipshewana and just relaxed. Should have taken a picture of one of the marshmallows I roasted. It was as perfect as any I have done in a long and illustrious marshmallow roasting career.

Elk City was great except for the fact we had some horrific thunderstorms and serious rain. We left there this morning after it rained constantly all night for a total of 3 inches. Miraculously, the rain stopped about an hour before we had planned to leave so we didn't get soaking wet while breaking down. And one night our cell phone went off at 1:30 AM with a chance of 80 MPH winds. The RV park did have a tornado shelter which we took advantage of After over 3 years on the road we are used to all type of adventures!

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico for the next 7 days. This park is very unique in the fact that active military stay free of charge!! I've never run across an RV park with that patriotic policy. My hat is off to them
