In my garage, have to get the race car ready now the rain stopped for awhile in Idaho. Then the 23rd going to Deadwood Reservoir in Central Idaho for 5 days. First time I have spent more than 2 days in the Jayflight. Added a battery since last trip and changed all lights to LED's. 2 batteries should last the whole trip. I have a gen, but rather not use it unless it is pretty hot. Taken the Side x side and kayak's. Cutthroats are thick in that Rez. Be my Lab pups first ride on the kayak. She's almost 9 months old now so not really a puppy anymore.

Camping in the Badlands. Just outside the National Park. Never realized how spectacular the Park is, sorry I never stopped by before. Heading to Spearfish
for a couple of days, then back down to Custer State Park over the next week.

Jetty Park, Canaveral. Who in the heck goes to Fl in summer? I guess we do. But we'll be heading north soon. Might catch a rocket launch tomorrow.

Shenanigans in branson, mo. Quite little park on the west end of the strip. Owned by a nice couple with a 5 year old daughter. Not many amenities past the full hook ups and cable tv. 2/3's the price of koa or silver dollar city.

Mueller State Park, CO. This hasn’t been a mild summer in Texas, so the chill in the air here feels great.

Likely California. Playing golf at the Likely Place RV and Golf resort. Likely is two buildings on 395 between Lakeview Oregon and Reno Nevada. But, there is this fantastic little RV park and a great 18 hole par 72 course. Found it a couple of years ago on our annual pilgrimage from Mesa Arizona to Funny River Alaska.

It's a volunteer week so we are camped at the Best Friends RV Park about 5 miles north of Kanab, UT for the week. Our youngest from Arizona is up to spend the week with us. We took a walk after setting up and were pleasantly surprised to see that they are adding a second loop with at least 12 more RV sites.

Hasn’t been mild is an understatement, we’re finishing up a 4 night excursion with the two grandkids at Eisenhower SP just on the Texas/OK line and it’s upper 90’s. To add insult to injury Lake Texoma is high so the swimming areas and fishing piers are closed. While 75 miles S. the State is in severe drought. Such are the vicissitudes of life.

Hilton Head National RV park and golf resort. WOW!!! A new twist to Glamping, may have to redefine. Incredibly nice pads, absolutely no dirt anywhere. manicured grounds. Hookups where they need to be, cable and WIFI. They advertise you can stream on 3 TV's per camper! Just got here yesterday evening, so lots to see. I think 2 pools, clubhouse with a gym. It is a bit pricey, but it sure is nice. As of Wednesday evening it was pretty empty, and it is not small. We will see as we approach the weekend.

That’s a bummer as the swimming/lakes are the one thing that make summer camping in Texas ok. I’m sure they still had fun though. I’d take that over nothing.

Update. Saturday morning and it is still pretty empty. Management says they are booked 4th weekend.
