In Door County, Wisconsin at a truly memorable Harvest Host site. We're on a nice deck overlooking a lake with a fire ring. We are alone in a ten acre meadow. If we only used HH for one night, this is worth it.

It is a bit pricey, but it sure is nice. As of Wednesday evening it was pretty empty, and it is not small. We will see as we approach the weekend.
UPDATE
This place is very very nice as well as very expensive. Mama has booked it for next year already. Either it is because of the fact it is brand new, or price? but they are ONLY booked 80% for the 4th of July weekend. The Staff is wonderful, most of them live on site with their campers

Glacier National Park. Going to the Sun Road still closed as they have 25' of snow & a couple of Avalanches to clear. Oh well, it gives us a reason to come back next year LOL. You can go partially up on both entrances. Many Glaciers area is opened all the way in & what great scenery with all the Glaciers & snow.

Rivers are running high but I'll still be out there Fly Fishing.

Same happened to us a few years ago. If you are on the west end you should be able to drive up to the Avalanche Lake trail. Great hike with more beautiful scenery.

First night of our ten night trip at Spacious Skies in Luray, VA. We are here until Friday and then down to Fancy Gap, VA right off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Nice sunset from our living room tonight.

Thanks, did the hike yesterday. There is some flooding on the Avalanche lake trail but it is doable. They had amazing Snowfall totals here this year. Same issue with Yellowstone NP, record rain but record Snow fall.

We just got back from almost 3 weeks in Florida. I just tested positive myself. Felt a little funny on the last leg of the trip.

I'll be camped out an additional few days here in the camper in the driveway.

We are in Fancy Gap, VA right off the Blue Ridge Parkway and Interstate 77 in Southern VA. Campground is about full now for the holiday weekend.

We will be in a sauna too down in Rockport Texas. High tomorrow is 93 with heat index of 107. Hopefully we will get in at least half a day of fishing, some R&R and some good seafood.

Heading to Estes Park by way of Amarillo. Two nights right off Route 66 while our daughter is finishing up Band Camp and then off to the mountains! It'll be good to escape this Texas heat for at least a little while.

Hate to break it to you, it's going to be at least 100 degrees every day for the next 10 days in Amarillo. Sure, the humidity isn't very high, but the wind blows and it's like a blast furnace. You staying at the Big Texan or Ft. Amarillo?

I know there's definitely no escape from the hear in Amarillo though they did get rain yesterday, it's 104 at home today northwest of Houston. It's just the stopping point to pick up our daughter from camp in Canyon. Staying at Oasis RV right by the Cadillac Ranch, then at Elk Meadows in Estes Park.
