Yes indeed, the fishing is great in all of the lakes in Louisiana. Take some pictures for sure.

As a point of correction, the locals called them burial mounds (and still do) but archeologist claim to have never found any graves which further leads to no clear understanding of their purpose. ~CA

Nortpoint Shores RV Resort

We love this place. Our 4th year staying here during our visit to Michigan. Enjoy the sun rises on Anchor Bay. A lot of great restaurants and scenic drives in the area.

Should be a tropical storm when it gets here. We are old hands at battening down. When I was working for the Bell system, I was always required to work during storms and often my family was with me in the building.

Now that I am retired, I have zero interest in being here for another one.

Camping in Mears, Michigan

We have a seasonal lot at Woodland Shores RV & Resort in Mears, Michigan. It was cold and rainy last weekend. Only a few weeks left before we cover it before the white crap flys.

I stayed and rode out a Cat I, in N Fl. 30 or so years back, I remember swearing to myself, as I watched the pine trees bending at incredible angles all around us, this will never happen again.

I'm sure you know what happened since 2021. At least some of us know.
