headed to Bandera, the cowboy capital of Texas, for a
BBQ cookoff. Basically boon docking, and its going to be HOT Friday but cooler with chance of rain Saturday .

Speaking of HOT, the reflectix that I put on the windows and door and skylight is working amazingly. I think it has got me to almost 30 degrees of differential between outside and inside temp. And that was with direct sun all day and a high of 98. never got over 71.

SWMBO decided she's spending the Holiday Week with her daughter.

Goldstream Park

Headed out to Goldstream Park on Vancouver Island. Both my daughters are coming and DW's sister - it will be a full campsite.

Shot is taken from Goldstream Park a few weeks ago. This time we're in a larger site.

The weather forecast is amazing. Looking forward to the campfire and some laughs!

Nowhere. We wanted to go camping locally but waited until Monday to book and found all the local CG were booked. Normally this would not happen but a bicycle race has the CGs filled to capacity.

We'll be heading to Colorado Campground near Woodland Park, CO this weekend. It'll be our first time there.

Lake George Rv Park in NY. Brought the boat and enjoyed a fantastic weekend. This weekend is off before we move in and live in our rig until October when we finally settle down in Houston.

This month we are at Weston Lake, the RV park for Ft Jackson in Columbia, SC

Really nice park with a lake view and spacious sites.

Fortunately and unfortunately I'll be at home.

Fortunately, because being retired, I can go out with the 23RB anytime and since there are sure to be huge crowds this 4th of July weekend, I'm content to stay home.

Unfortunately, because we've not yet finished getting the brand new trailer, which we picked up last Friday, travel worthy. Spent 2 days in a Time Out, in order to help deconstruct, move, and then reconstruct a swing and slide set for the grand kids.

Spent the rest of the time remodeling the under bed storage and the pass through storage. That project is finished, and the forward cargo hold and the rear curbside cargo hold are packed for travel.

We still have to move the 10" memory foam mattress from the house to the trailer and then have to finish packing the rest of the inside.

We should be ready by next weekend, however the initial voyage will not be until the 3rd weekend in July. One or two further shakedown cruises should follow in August. Then the fun really begins. 8 out of 9 straight weekends, plus a couple of weeks, one in September and one in October, will be spent on the road at college football games. Let the weekend long tailgating begin.
