We stayed 3 nights at Petit Jean SP and 3 nights at Devil's Den SP in Arkansas. Loved Petit Jean but would pass on Devil's Den if we had to do it again.

We are at Char-Bo Campground this weekend in Derby Vermont very close to the Canadian boarder. Suns going down and just got the fire started so we can sit back and relax. Beautiful night.

So far it's been nice! High of 90, lows in the 60s. This week highs supposed to be low 80s-high 70s

We are not camping anywhere this weekend. However, on Wednesday we leave for the Mt. Baker Blues Festival in Bellingham, WA. This will be our 6th year. Great blues music and a wonderful crowd.

This was our 2nd time going there, went last year at the end of June. We actually had the same site both years which is a nice site in this particular row because it is right under a large tree for shade. Site was a pull thru and had water, electric and sewer. I am not sure if this applies to the entire campground or not, but this particular site kept tripping my Progressive EMS for low voltage, did the same last year now that I get thinking about it. It is also very close to the L-shaped heated pool, playground and Campground store. There are several Horseshoe pits and a set of corn-hole boards near the pool. There are a lot of seasonal sites and a fair amount of golf carts. Campground is maintained pretty well and people seemed to be friendly. It is a good size Campground. It is only a few miles off of I-91 exit 28. If you go this way, when you get off exit 28 and take a right, stay on this road until you get to RT 5 and then take a right. The GPS may want to have you take a short cut on West St. which is narrow and windy and is under construction. I know this area since we have family up there so I didn't take that road anyway. It won't save you but a minute at most anyway. Also just off the exit on the way to CG are a few gas stations with convenience stores. Taking a left off the exit will bring you right to a new Super Walmart and a Price Chopper. If you would like a nice view while your out and about during your stay, head west on E. Main St. past the Walmart and take a right on to Shattuck Hill Rd between CVS and Kinney Drugs, follow this out a couple of minutes and then you will come to a section of this road that overlooks Lake Memphremagog and a few of its islands. There is a little pull off on the side of the road if you want to stop and take pictures. We will most likely be going back again next summer. There was a nice view of the rolling hills from our site looking to the west.
