We're heading out this weekend for Colorado. Plan is to be gone for two weeks but we're going to take our time going and coming. I've seen everything there is to see in Kansas and eastern Colorado along I-70 so we're going to take back roads and see what we can find.

First stop will be Glen Elder State Park near Beloit, Ks. for a couple days. The lake there is the largest in the state and supposed to be a great place to fish. In addition, the World's Biggest Ball of Twine is just down the road.

We'll probably make one more stop somewhere on the high plains of western Kansas or eastern Colorado before checking in to Cherry Creek State Park near Denver, where our youngest son and 2-year-old grandson live.

After four nights in Denver we're heading north and west for a week near Red Feather Lakes, Co. We spent four days at Red Feather in 2016 and can't wait to go back. Life is pretty slow there and the scenery is incredible.

We returned from 10 day vacation to Colorado. I can attest that south west Kansas and south east Colorado are the most boring drives I have ever endured next to the Middle East. We stayed over night in Oakley, KS, 3 nights in South Fork, Co, 3 nights in Colorado Springs and 2 nights in Gibbon, NE before heading home. My F250 did outstanding pulling our TT thought the 8-9 MPG towing did hit my wallet a bit hard.

Headed out tomorrow for the Northeast. Will start tomorrow and decide mid-afternoon where we are going to stop for the night. Then get up to Maine early Thursday to visit with one side of my wife's family. They own a bunch of land up there that we will boondock on with others in her family. Then leave there on Saturday to drive to Cape Cod to spend next week with the other side of my wife's family. Hoping for a great trip!

We leave Sunday for five days on the Kern river here in California. We've going back to Camp James for the third year in a row because the place is so great.

Overdue for some R&R.

Not camping this weekend but we are headed to one of our favorite campgrounds soon, Button Bay State Park on Lake Champlain in Ferrisburgh Vermont which is near Vergennes. Can’t wait since we haven’t been camping in a few weeks!

Cheers [emoji482]

Last night was Oasis RV resort in Amarillo. Great RV park for those making there between the southern states and the west.

We're at Wyalusing State Park for the week. It's where the Wisconsin River flows into the Mississippi. Campground is on the bluffs with great scenery.
