We went to Big Bend over thanksgiving (10+ hr drive) and we weren’t ready for another 10 hr trip so we decided to go somewhere closer (2.5 hrs).
We would love to go back soon.

Where in Big Bend? I’ve motorcycle camped down there, but the RV situation there doesn’t look great.
We’re at Petit Jean in AR this weekend. It was a choice between here and Palo Duro Canyon. A bit of rain won out over 30 mph winds and lows in the 20’s. Lots of fog and cool but not cold.

Yes, it was awesome. Camped with MadJokerTx and his family and a couple other families. Weather was perfect.
