Got about the worst mpg I think I've ever gotten with the 6.2L on the way home due to the howling quartering headwind we fought 3/4 of the way home - was sitting on 5.8 for a long time but ultimately pulled 7.2 for the tank.

Wow, that is a beautiful place I have to look that up and see where it's located, those are some very nice views.

It's about 20 miles north of Ephrata and about 6 miles south of Banks Lake. We've driven by it a couple times on our way up to Steamboat Rock State Park on Banks Lake but this is the first time we've stayed there.

Yes, highly recommend Seven Feathers RV Resort! That’s usually the go to spot for the DW & myself.
But needed recreational opportunities for the grandkids and since 7 Feathers still had some of their amenities closed Stanton Park was a good Plan B.

Camped at Bike Trail Campground in Wilton WI for the week. Nice little campground in The Driftless area. Large Amish population. Very enjoyable.

Just got back from Starved Rock State Park in Utica, Illinois. It’s right on the Illinois River about an hour west of Chicago. It has lots of waterfalls and canyons to check out and is pretty unusual topography for this area. We originally had reservations for early May when the waterfalls would have been more spectacular, but COVID put an end to that.

We went during the week because the weekends are just packed with day trippers from the city. Campground is also fully booked on the weekend, but was mostly empty during the week.

Many sites in an open field are huge, with about a quarter in the forest that I would not try to get my 32’ trailer into. 30 and some 50 amp electric only sites, but can fill tanks and dump on site. It’s only a mile or two to I-80 so it would be a good overnight alternative for those driving cross country.

Went for a nice dip in the river to get cooled down as it is 29* Celsius here still. Not as humid as at home, but a nice cool dip before dinner is awesome.

The rafts will be pumped up tomorrow for doing the lazy river run...

Beautiful spot (and nice trailer ). I’d die for 84-degree temps, though! Looking at 103* this week.

Yikes! Stay cool somewhere

I'm hunting for a water heater control board in the morning... Ours stopped working tonight.

Sorry to hear. The one I got when ours went out on our Yellowstone trip says “Panasonic” on it. It wasn’t Dinosaur, but the tech at the dealer said they’d had good luck with it. Anything that doesn’t say Dometic or Zhongding makes me happy.

Picked up a Dinosaur UIB64 and put it in, so we have a working solution!
