Heading to our favorite Thanksgiving spot, Alabama Hills near Lone Pine. Smoked Turkey, Smoked Rack of Lamb and all the fixings on the menu for big T Day. Can't wait. Alabama Hills is one of my favorite Fall playgrounds.

We just returned from Big Bend National Park. We had been going twice or more per year but haven't been in a couple years. Like a family reunion without the drama.

We’re on our maiden voyage…. The in-laws in Jayess, MS, about 2hrs from the Gulf Coast. Our next stop is Sam’s for a new mattress ����, then to a campsite somewhere in AL.

We are having our Annual Thanksgiving Gathering at Mistletoe State Park here in Georgia. We started this tradition 9 yrs. ago. Told our sons not more big dinners. If you want to come were cooking Hotdogs and Hamburgers! Over the yrs. it grew into a gathering. This yr. 22 people were here. Two Air fried Turkeys, Ham, and all the fixin's. And so when no one wanted to take all the left overs home. One of our group members took it all to some homeless folks and fed the a good meal.

Well, we were very blessed to be missed by all those storms that rolled through AR, as they made a trek across to TN and KY. Hopefully none of you were camping the path of that stuff.

We are in Freeport at the Bluewaterrv RV Resort. Catching lots of blue crabs.
We came Wed & leave in the morning to a family xmas gathering in Waxahachie.
Came down to relax on on 55th anniversary on the 16th.
If y'all are looking for a long term place for the winter on the Tx Gulf Coast they are runners no a special on monthly rates .
