Thanks for the heads up on CG. Stellar meal there tonight: shrimp fra Diablo. Outstanding meal.
Their location adjacent to the outlet complex must be good for their business. Waiting line 15 to 20 minutes, but well worth it. Thanks again!

That is excellent. I'm so happy that you had the opportunity to eat there.

You guys need to be less selfish and open the border us so us freezing cold Canadians can share the warmth with you! The virus is going to be around for a long time, so we might as well move on with life.

Off to Lake Havasu State Park for New Years. Weather predicted to be nice and have our favorite spot close to the water. First trip of 2021.

I do like it. Sometimes wish it was a little smaller with a few less things to maintain, but for what it is, we’re very happy with it. Only thing that may be better is if the wheels were spread out and it had a diesel motor in the back so I didn’t need a truck to pull it.

Solo camping In front of the house. Cousin Eddy style. Potential(very mild) Covid going on, so I’m isolating as a precaution. Hopefully it’s not. Really appreciating owning this thing right now.

Only complaints about this campground is the sites are on the road which has a 30 mph limit which drivers confuse with 40. Amazon delivery vehicles do create a wake at that speed. Also, the hiking is terrible. On a good note, the WiFi and water pressure are both good. People seem to pick up after the pets.

Just returned from a couple of weeks in Florida.
3 days in St. Augustine. Stayed at Compass Rv Resort. Very nice resort, great location close to the beach and historic downtown.
From there, we traveled back roads across the state to Sunkissed RV Resort in Summerfield. I can't say enough about this new destination resort. Beautiful, very clean, well maintained, lots of amenities (heated pool)! Close to Ocala and The Villages. Right next door to CW! Liked it so much that we stayed several days longer than planned.
Looking for a place to retire to in Florida. The Villages is (are?) huge!. The development covers parts of 3 counties. Not South enough for me......we lived in Cape Coral several years ago. Trying to convince DW to go back there.
On the way back north we stayed near Brunswick GA. For 3 days. Coastal Georgia Resort was just OK. Could be a lot better...
Brunswick and the Sea Islands were great. Lots of history and beauty there.
Back home in Central SC. Already planning the next trip, probably to the Fl. Panhandle then west to Houston.
Safe Travels!

Caprock Canyon in West Texas. Been a cold trip so far, but a 5.5 mile hike took care of that. Maybe some snow tonight. If the roads are compromised we’ll wait to leave till Monday. I’ve got plenty of snow/ice experience driving, but not towing.

One thing I didn’t anticipate was sticky snow on top of the slideouts. Too dangerous to get on the roof and brush them off from above. Too much snow to bring them in as it would compact against the wall not closing correctly, and the left overs will melt inside.

The best part about Texas snow is that it's usually gone within a day or 2!

Time for some slideout toppers?
