Question Where is my water pump

I have a new Jayco Greyhawk 31 FS and we really like it. This is our first trip and I hadn't used the pump much before we left. It spurts and never runs smoothly. Initially, I thought I just needed to make sure the air was cleared from the waters lines. When I'm on city water I usually run the toilet and cold water long enough to clear the lines. Despite trying to clear the lines running the pump it never run smoothly nor does the water flow steadily. In my previous RV's, both trailers and motor homes, I adjusted some setting on the pump and this always resolved this problem. So why don't I just tweak the pump on this rig? I can't find the blasted pump. I can hear it, but I cannot figure out exactly where it is nor how to access it. Can anyone help me?

I can't help you with yours although you should be able to determine its location by the sound. Mine is under the storage cabinet between my refrig and my dining room table

Our pump is under the drawers that are mounted on the same cabinet as the sink sits on.

Welcome to JOF

I assume that you gave the system time to fill the HWH and purge all the air out of the hot water lines. Also, once you locate the pump, check for any connections that may be drawing in any air.

Thanks to each of you who offered a suggestion. I followed the sound of the pump and found it in a cabinet under the bed. The fix I thought I could do was not possible on this mounting and in the end it didn't seem that what I wanted to adjust would have worked anyway. I will just have to wait till we get home and return to the dealer to get it fixed. They will need to address a number of small issues anyway.

Can't locate my water pump either. When you said you found it under the bed, did you mean the dining table? Looked under the bed in back, but nothing was there either.

Yes, mine was under the bed. It's been awhile, so I don't exactly remember if it was just sitting there under the bed or encased in an enclosure. But it was definitely under the bed not under the table. I have a 2014 Greyhawk 31FS and newer models might be different or other models could also be different. Turns out that whatever reason I was looking for it, once I found it, there was nothing wrong and finding it didn't do me any good. Again, it's been awhile and I think I just needed to clear air our of the system. Good luck resolving your problem.

The 14 Greyhawk that I had, had the water pump under the bathroom sink. There was a panel that was screwed on at the floor under the cabinet doors.

Just turn on a faucet and let it run while you track down the noisy pump. They put them different places, this trailer it's under my J sofa.
