Where to Buy Propane Rubber Lines

My camper came without the proper propane tank hold downs and cover. I bought the parts friday and now have everything bolted down safely. My original hose that is on my camper is about 2 feet short to run under the cover without cutting holes in. Where can you buy propane rubber lines like this? Can hydraulic hose shops make hoses like these or are they camper specific?

Also with dual tank setups do you run one tank empty and then just change them, or do you buy some type of dual tank hookup that runs both tanks?

What sort of guages do you run to know when empty?

Standard hydraulic hoses are not the same as ones rated for propane use. Your hydraulic shop might carry propane hoses but you should call and ask. Look for a shop that sells propane equipment and they should be able to get the hose you need.

With dual tanks I just let one run out and manually switch to the other. You can open both valves and run them together, but if you run them both out in the middle of a really cold night, you'll have no heat. You can also buy a regulator that automatically changes over for you.

No gauges. I know a tank is empty when the heat stops working!

If you need it quick I would go to a propane supplier. They may have, or should be able to make, what you need.
