Where to order? First time buyer.

I am looking to pull the trigger on ordering a new Jayco Eagle. I've been looking around online and just seem to get more and more confused. All the hidden costs and different fees that dealers drop on you at the last minute has me reaching out for some first hand experience.

Where would you Jayco owners recommend ordering a unit from? My location is about an hour east of Pittsburgh, PA but I'm more than willing to travel.

I'm obiously interested in the lowest possible price and the smooth transaction with a dealer that isn't going to spring thousands of dollars in costs on me at the last minute.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you don't mind driving check out Haylett RV in Coldwater, MI. They are a family run business and great to deal with. Check out there website its loaded with many great videos of the new incoming models.

Welcome to the forum.

I purchased from Indiana RV Connection. Very smooth transaction with no surprises. The price out-the-door negotiated via email was the price I paid.

The 3,600mi round trip was a bit of a pain, but I found NO dealers anywhere close that 1) I wanted to do business with or 2) Were willing to discuss a price other than MSRP.

If you check this forum, you'll find that getting warranty work done by a dealer you didn't buy from can be a problem for some. I was lucky. Affinity RV in Prescott Valley, AZ has been wonderful regarding warranty and other work.

Happy trailer shopping!

Before you go out of the Pittsburgh area to buy, give Huffy's in Finleyville a shot. They are just off of rt. 88. My new Jay Feather came from there in May. Not only was it a completely stress free buying experience (no hidden fees etc.), they beat the out of state mega dealers by $1000.

-Keystone RV Center in Greencastle PA. They were nice during sale. Never needed warranty so no idea on service. Bought our first camper from them.

-RVOne.com has multiple locations. Even if you just get an online quote it's worth it. We ordered our second camper through rvone and picked it up in Albany NY. They were awesome during sale. Never needed service so don't know about that. They were cheaper than anywhere else. We checked every online place I could find mentioned on here.

I would have bought from Keystone the second time but I saved over $5k with rvone.

I bought at RV One in Albany but had to pick up in Buffalo. I saved 20k on my Precept 35UN, No one came close to the price for in stock units. My local dealer simply said no can do. Although my buddy bought an Eagle at our local dealer, He priced it at RV One, the local dealer came within 1k so he bought locally. The Eagle was ordered.

Good luck on you future purchase!

Never bought from them but I am impressed with the reviews, prices and policies of Keystone RV in Greencastle, Pa. They even have a mission statement that they will service your unit no matter where you bought it. That is rare in the RV business. They also claim their listed prices are all inclusive, no hidden fees.

You might want to read the link below and include that info in your decision.
Regarding price. Jayco lists their MSRP on their web site. Take that number and knock off 30% or so. Go to your dealership and make an offer "out the door" for that price.
