We did a lot of research when we bought our Jayco 23 rlsw TT in May of 2017. At 68 we felt we wanted a unit that would be of the correct size for the 2 of us, easy to tow and park, durable, easy to maintain, and stand up to a lot of use. We have used it over 100 nights, put on 10,000 miles and had one awning problem that Jayco covered. If something happens to this one we would get a new one just like it. By the way this is our 4th Jayco in28 years. All from the same dealer.

We traded out 2014 248RBS two months ago for a 2018 34RSBS, huge difference. We seriously needed more room travel with three dogs and we are out about 60 nights year. WE love th 34RSBS, do not like the TV gas mileage

We went from a 2017 Coachmen 31BH c class to a 2018.5 Seneca 37TS. Best decision we ever made love the new Seneca. When we do decide to go with another new one it will be a custom Showhauler but until we pay off the Seneca and get the high school sophomore, junior, and senior through college over the next few years it could be a while.

We plan to buy a 28BHBE, a 28BHS or something similar in the spring.

I've seen them on the road. Real nice. Not sure how many places you could fit the larger ones into but this one is nice.

We have the same issue

We see places on our travels we'd like to pull off and check out but too big to get into some spots. Looked into going to a TT from the 5th but to get enough space it'd be a 30' and no change in LOA. A small Mercedes van conversion would work for the small spots but not for 4 months on the road.

Maybe a 40' DP pulling a flatbed trailer with a Jeep and a van conversion on top would work

Will not b a Jayco

Looking at class As. I’m not satisfied w the quality of my Redhawk. I’m not satisfied w Jayco’s “customer service” nor w service from the dealer. I realize that pride in workmanship and user relations has changed over the years, but this past experience has been more challenging.

Happy with Jayco Eagle 3121 RSTS

I had an Arctic Fox 22H and a Nash 23d for 15 years. I did about a year of research before buying a 2017 3121 RSTS Eagle 5th wheel when I retired in 2016, which I full timed in for a year and now use for 3-4 month snowbird trips as well as shorter local trips. The 5th wheel as opposed to a TT is a huge improvement in many ways, and the Jayco Eagle (not HT) is just the right level rig for me - way more comfortable than a basic "camper", but not filled with expensive and heavy luxury stuff, and it has the same construction as Jayco's higher level 5ers. At 36' I can get it in to state parks, and I've found anything shorter causes a compromise in enough space to allow a comfortable living space in all rooms. I keep an eye on the RV market for anything that would be enough improvement to cause me to trade in for something else, and so far have found nothing I'd rather have. The Jayco has been reasonably reliable but there have been warranty repairs, but from what I've read about other brands they are no different. My TV is a 2016 Silverado 3500 diesel short bed. I average 12 mpg when towing fully loaded.

Jon, glad you ate pleased with your Eagle and hope the Schwintek slides don't give you any trouble. Ours was fine til the rv turned 2 years old and was out of factory warranty, then the major problems hit

Don't take any BS from these dealers, stand your ground. We also maintain a web site that we can reach a lot of people with, if need be I won't hesitate to smear there name!
Had a similar situation... told him I would have my Highway Patrol buddy come over to the dealership and "Red-Tag" the rig in the service driveway.

We’re looking to go from our 31’ Melbourne to a similar length class A next year when we retire. We like the floor plan of the Thor ACE 30.3 With the walk through bathroom. We go shopping for our next RV at the Hershey show next year.

Plan on retiring at the end of 2019, so I will also be hitting the Hershey RV Show next September for my retirement gift! We will most likely trade our 2018 Greyhawk 31DS class C for a Newmar class A, still undecided whether or not to go gas or diesel. We really like the Newmar product line, very impressive.

We're considering a Class A DP in the 38-40' range. I've talked to people in RV parks with gas A's in 36-38' range and they said they are great until you need to tow in the mountains. The reason for going to a MH for us would be to have an offroad capable toad. The pickup is okay but not the best for that

While I love my 27BHS, I will unfortunately have to sell it without a replacement anytime soon.
Realizing it’s more heavy on the budget than I originally knew and just trying to payoff some other debts before retirement
When I do retire I would like to get a rear living with theater seating and better view to the tele. Prefer a bigger jack-knife sofa (3 person) as well as that’s where our 2 dogs sleep and they are on cramped with our 2 person sofa.

Our next one will likely be one of the mid-bunk model 5ers. We currently have a 27ft TT and love it. But the idea of having a nice big rear living area AND bunks would be a dream. Probably in the next 2-3 years we'll make the step up. But, for now our 27BHS is great and we love everything about it. As the kids get up into the teenage years, it'll be nice to have that extra space that the 5er will give us.

There won't be a next one, this one is the first and last, we only use out TT a few times each summer since we basically full time on our boat on the Great Lakes during the summer and winter back home in Hawaii. We are looking to upgrade our boat from 40' to 60', we enjoy boating more than the RV lifestyle.

We are retired and purchased our Jay feather 2017 23rlsw with the idea it may be our last unit. We love the rear large couch. Just right for us and the dogs.
Slider opens up the living space nicely. We did add an aluminum fold out step for our bionic knees. We are very pleased with our decision. Our friends just retired and they bought one just like ours. Our other friends retired and bought a 19 foot single axle retro and in only a few trips decided it was too small. found they will take a beating on trading it so will make do for a couple of years.
