White hawk 27dsrl freshwater over flow

Hello all My wife and I purchased a jayco 27dsrl white hawk last fall used it once before we had to store it for the winter. Anyway my problem was we filled our freshwater tank and was waiting for it to over flow out vent like most campers. But next thing I know the underbelly was full of water. So I had slit it a bit for water to come out. Does anyone know where the overflow tube is? Obviously I know it's in underneath but seems weird it would be there. Most spit out where you fill it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The overflow tube should be just forward of the main door steps and just to the rear of the freshwater fill cap about a foot in from the edge of the trailer.
