Whitehawk heated tanks??

Question....Bought a brand new whitehawk 27dsrl and when I ordered the glacier package my salesmen told me that the tanks where heated and not just from the furnace, does anyone know if this is true? I do not trust many salesman so I am asking you guys and gals. If it does have heated tanks than how do they work and when do they work? Thanks so much!!

I have my doubts about that but can't say for sure cuz I don't have that model. I would call Jayco customer service and ask them. You are right to be wary of RV salespeople

Heated tanks usually are electric. Then work when the temp gets down to a certain level. Make sure you see the controls to turn them off and on. I would also want to see a breakdown of the glacier package.

Thanks guy, I will look into it deeper and see what I come up with. I have my doubts also about the heated tanks.

Call Jayco Customer Service and ask them. But, I don't think the tanks are heated, at least if they are, nobody told me the tanks on my 28DSBH are heated. From what I understand, the Glacier Package just gives you a little more insulation in the floor and roof.

I was told the tanks themselves have not heaters in them but that there is a furnace vent pointed into the enclosed underbelly which will keep the tanks from freezing.
