Funny thing is the model does not match the continu.us TV model, but the serial number does. I called Jayco and they looked it up for me. She said yes, my WhiteHawk was shipped with the Continu.us brand TV. She said Jayco has switched to the continu.us brand. This normally would not bother me except this contiu.us TV seems to be very low quality. The RCA jacks on the back are already loose and seemed tentatively attached to the inside of the TV. When you try to attach an RCA cable the jacks start to push into the set. I also debated when I ordered the TT on getting the TV or just buying my own. Had I known it would have been an off brand I would have passed and purchased my own. So for future WhiteHawk special orders, consider if you want to get this questionable TV for the cost.

Bamm,

I'm sorry that you have had problems with the Continu.us TV that was in your WhiteHawk. We strive to provide a high quality product at a reasonable cost for Jayco. These TVs are installed by Jayco at their factory and there is always the possibility that some of the connections were dislodged during installation. If you would like, please contact us at 866-500-6907 and speak with us concerning your issues. We would be more than happy to replace the television if there are in fact defects.

And FWIW, I've only had my Contin-us TV for a few months, I think it has a great picture and it also came with a remote.

IMHO $500 for any 26" TV is a serious rip-off. I got a 39" Visio at Sams for my 27DSRL for $378. Got a 24" Toshiba with a built in DVD player for the bedroom for $245. You can get a 37" Samsung for less than $450. 720p is the broadcast standard. You need a blu-ray player to get to 1080p.

On my first trip with my 27dsrl whitehawk. Came with a 32 inch Continu Us TV with remote. The remote was terrible would work half the time.
I replaced it with a RCA generic remote. Picked it up in Home depot for under $5.00. Works Great.

We're going on our 3rd season with the 26" model. So far, so good. Great picture & sound (although we usually run the sound through the Jensen system) and the remote has been fine. We're very pleased with the set! If the remote is unresponsive, you may want to check the batteries, especially if it was left in the trailer while in storage over the winter.

The RCA jack on our new one week old Jayco are broken. Appears to have been broken when it was installed.

I have a contin us TV so far no probs . I did not like the remote that came with it. I bought a cheap RCA universal remote and it worked fine. I don't beleive I even had to program the new remote.

Ours broke too. What a flimsy design. Did they even have a R&D team at Continu.us ? I replaced it and will probably have it recycled. Maybe if I can find a stand for it, might throw it in the playroom at home.

There are a lot of complaints floating around on various forums about the RCA jacks on the Continu.us TVs. Ours has been fine so far (almost a year), but you know the saying about broken clocks... If/when ours goes, I'll put a better quality unit in there.

I purchased a White Hawk in early July of this year and so far the Continu.us TV has worked well. No loose connections and the picture quality for a 32 inch is pretty good. Hopefully, it'll hold up.
