We spent the last five nights in the trailer. One more week and we will pull it home and get ready for Az.

Very beautiful area. I grew up in that area, about 10 miles from WG. Use to camp at Tochanic(sp)Falls up near Ithaca a lot.

Boy would I have loved to have been at the RV but had tickets to see PSU get blasted by Ohio U. Good PSU first half, really ugly second half. Will be at the RV this weekend to make up for lost time.

X2. I love fall camping. I'll even winterize twice to extend the season.

Just got back from 7 days at Hoffmaster SP in Michigan. The weather couldn't have been better! Had a bit of excitement at the CG when we lost power in the wee hours of the morning Sunday. They brought in a bunch of Joy Jons to each of the restroom buildings around 9:30 AM then the power came back on at 10:15 AM. One of the high voltage underground feeds blew up...pretty cool!

We rather not go on the big holiday weekends, to crowded and pretty noisy with all the kids and such. Nothing against kids mind you, but we prefer it to be quieter now that ours are grown and gone. We are heading out Sunday for a week at Lewiston Lake (Next to Trinity Lake near Shasta) and should pretty much have the CG to ourselves. This will be our first trip taking the new to us boat along as well. I think I have checked everything, tires, wheels, greased the bearings on the boat trailer etc.

We were planning on it, but my wife was ill and we stayed home. Since we are on a permanent site, traffic is not as big a deal as if I were towing the camper. But I did just book 2 weekends at the local Yogi Bear campground as they do Haunted Halloween 3 weekends in a row. I love Halloween.....

Spent Friday night at Pedernales SP near Austin Texas, then ran to SeaWorld and stayed at Admirality RV park. Good times with the kiddos. We have logged 2200 miles and numerous trips since taking ownership in June. Looking forward to cooler weather trips on the weekends during school..Dont plan on winterizing, plan on running the wheels off it every chance we get.

We didn't. Hurricane Issac changed our Gulf Coast trip plans.

We just got back from our first trip. Went to Otter Lake in PA. Everything went smooth, except the rain moved in early on us. Family was excited and we are very happy with our new (first) trailer. Hopefully we can get a couple more weekends in before we have to end the season.

We have friends who used to go to Otter Lake a lot and they really liked it there when their kids were younger.

We didn't get to go because we were on a trip to upstate NY for a family re-union. And we had our 7 week old grandson on his first long "roadtrip", so that was really fun! Especially since he has to be fed every 2 - 3 hours or so! Plus the fact that southern Indiana was getting deluged with rain from Isaac. But I can't complain because we really needed some relief from the drought. And as has already been stated Fall is a great time of year to go camping. That's campfire weather!

But my mind was still on camping though as I met a young couple that was at a rest stop with their Jayco 23F. I really enjoyed talking to them about their rig!

I had my in-laws from Ventura visiting so we couldn't go. What made it worse was my parents, sisters, brother all went camping 45 minutes away from us.

Had a great time at Sebago Lake State Park, Maine. Arrived Thursday and departed Tuesday. Weather was great, 1 day cloudy until mid afternoon, and light rain on our departure. I don't miss the tent ends on our former trailer at all !!

We used to go to a cottage on Sebago Lake years ago. I haven't been there in years, that might have to change. At the Maine state parks - do they have any hook ups. or a place to empty your tanks?

No camping this past Labor Day weekend. We did do a marathon road trip though. We had birthday party to go to for my DW’s grandmother who turns 100 later this month. No Camping but it was well worth the trip.

Berlin, Oh. (Amish country) for 4 days. Lots of good food and great scenery. Just the quiet we were looking for. Side trip to Mansfield Reformatory for a tour of the prison where Shawshank Redemption was filmed.
