DW hasn't driven with the new 5'er in tow, but she would spell me when we had our travel trailer, so I expect she'll give it a shot again next summer.

My wife pulled the PU with no problem. She'll learn to pull the TT next year, but only forwards.

She has a real phobia of backing up.

I don't mind driving, I prefer to drive. She's good for a break on the straight lol

I drive 100% while in tow but my wife can drive the dually just not hooked up. I have not trained her behind the wheel yet in case she needs to pull it combined. I know she can do it, and I have had her more involved with the process so she knows the total process should she ever need to do it. That includes total disconnect and hookup.

I keep saying we are going to do it while on a longer trip with less turns to get a handle of it, but never get there. This season it will be done for sure. Around the block a few times as well to learn the turning process. I've explained the process and what stuff does and why, hopefully she was listening.

Being that both of us were professional drivers for 20 plus years once upon a time, she refuses to drive and this makes me oh so happy.

DW won't take a turn at the wheel on our way down to Phoenix this weekend. She'll be busy pulling our quads with her Expy.
