Who's Going To The Hershey RV Show?

My family bought our first camper, the X17Z at last years show. It's been a great little unit that my entire family has enjoyed. My parents use it, my wie and I use it, my brother and his family use it and my sister and her family use it. We brought it home at the end of September last year and I'd say it's going to be used for about 90-100 nights before our first full year is up. We're happy about that.

Anyway, while the camper is a great little camper, it is after all a little camper. It's a tight fit when you have 3 or more people camping especially when you have kids. As a result, we are all going back to the RV show in two weeks to look at an upgrade. I've been browsing at all the Jayco models for months now and I think we've settled on a whitehawk. Most likely a 29SQB. Hopefully they'll have that at the show. We also like the 31 whitehawk which is similar to the 29. A great feature of the bigger one is bathroom access from outside. We like that.

No matter what camper we get, we need to upgrade the TV and are currently looking at Tundras. We would be keeping the X17Z since it's perfect for my parents and also for me at the moment since my wife and I have no kids yet. Having the 2 campers means that all 13 of us could take a trip together and we would all be fine in the two campers.

That's my story and reasoning for attending the show. Anyone else?

I would love to attend a show as we may be ready for an upgrade in the next year. Unfortunately we may not be available to attend the local shows in our area when they are scheduled

What are the show dates? My wife and I will be in the area on the 15 -16 and would attend. We're not looking to buy (just purchased a new TT two months ago) but we'd like to check out the show.

Maybe we can car pool. lol

It's September 12-16 so it's perfect for you. We are leaving here after work on Thursday and checking in to a hotel that night. Gonna wake up Friday morning and hit the show and probably come back the following day. Last year we did the trip in one day but that was rough.

Don't. lol

We went last year and they had the camper we were looking at a WES for at least 5-6K less then what WES wanted. Not bad considering WES wanted about 18K. Great deals to be had for sure. I'd say it would take 2 days to fully see everything you want. Don't forget to check out the seminar schedules too!

Wish we had something like that down here where I live!

The shows we do have are usually in the middle of winter when the weather is crappy and travel is hazardous!

Just came back from the store with some beer, soda, juice, water and some snacks for the trip. We are leaving here around 5pm tomorrow and checking in around Herhsey about 9pm tomorrow. Gonna send all day Saturday and possibly some on Sunday at the show. Can't wait to be back!

Took the four hour drive today and we are still about 50 minutes away from the show in a hotel. We'll be at the show in about 10 hours!!
