very interesting for sure. I have a 2 car, 1 car, and RV garage door. even when the doors are closed, leaves accumulate in front of the doors just waiting for an opening. I sneak out the 'man' door, crank up my yard vac and suck'em up. not that I win all the time, but sometimes I just get lucky

I like to chalk it up to the rule of "jelly side down". Seems whenever you drop a piece of bread with jelly, it ALWAYS falls, (you get it) "jelly side down".

Seriously, OP and all the others, each example is one of a number of constants in nature that undoubtedly plagues everyone. It's like why 90% of the time you lose on the 50/50 chance of connecting a plug with the right polarity. : )

Our house is on the east end of our long street. Wind is mostly out of the west. All the leaves on the street end up HERE. We own two very small ornamental apple and cherry trees, so I guess I should be grateful I have a reason to actually use my rake...

FPM must be a Fire Prevention Officer or perhaps a qualified Building Official (AKA building inspector). Stuff you learn in both professions taking building science courses.

Yeah, but did you have to do it barefoot like we did? Those new school shoes had to last at lest a year and then get passed down to a younger sibling. Just saying - from an old guy. Cheers

There have been a few times that I had an awesome tailwind while pulling my trailer, and was getting 20+ mpg. Only happened a few times, but it sure was a nice change from the constant headwinds.

best fuel mileage i'v gotten towing is about 99 MPG for a 10 mile stretch coming down Sherman Grade...
