Hi WELCOME to the forum.

I use a EnGenius Wi-Fi extender and I have the external Wi-Fi antenna mounted to a PVC pipe that is mounted to our TT's ladder and I swing it up when we get to the CG. You can see my setup in my album section.

There are a few other members that have made their own mounting assemblies, so a search on wifi and you should come up with more options.

I have the engenius enh202, which does not have the external antenna plug as yours. Are you using an omnidirectional antenna? Wouldn't you get better result if you used a directional external antenna and point in at the wifi signal you want to repeat?

I was thinking of attaching my Enh-202 to my Wineguard antenna, so that I could rotate it as I please from within the trailer...

On our other TT, I tried to mount the external Wi-Fi Antenna on the crank up TV antenna, except it added to much weight on the end of the antenna assembly. I nearly broke the plastic crank on the ceiling. It was a good idea though.

When I was researching my options, I decided that I wanted to go with a unit that allowed for a 15dB omnidirectional antenna. The directional antennas I believe have a 70 degree range, so you need to align it with the CG's AP, as you are aware of. I set up the TT when we arrive at the CG and flip up the Wi-Fi antenna mounted on the TT's ladder and select the CG's best AP signal, or the AP with the least amount of traffic, using our tablet. Nothing more than a personal preference I guess.

With the 15dB antenna I have picked up AP's that were more than 1.5 miles away (in Colorado), line of sight (Home Depot public Wi-Fi).

I use a Verizon Mifi in conjunction with the Wilson Sleek cradle. Use a 12" Wilson magnetic mount antenna on top of a 12' fiberglass painters pole. Found an adapter that goes from coarse painter pole threads to 1/2" pipe threads which allows me to put a metal pipe flange on end of pole for magnetic antenna to grip. U clamped a short piece of pvc pipe to spare tire carrier that antenna pole rests in and I feed antenna cable thru rear power cable outlet into camper. This is on a Whitehawk 27dsrl. Has worked well where we get Verizon signal. Phones are Att so we most likely get one or the other carriers signal where we are.
