Wifi thermostat weather station

I am trying to find a device that would allow me to monitor the temperature of my rv through my iphone while I am away at the pool, etc. Is there anything out there that is reasonably priced that would work. I want to be sure the pets are safe. Netatmo had a weather station that looked awesome. It even monitored sound levels, but reviews are terrible.

Interesting. It does seem to need to be plugged into a router. The only way I can think of is finding one that works with bluetooth and leaving a phone behind.

This is also a cloud device, requiring paid service to La Crosse. Notice it includes certain alerts for one year and they sell upgrade plans.

Here's a thought:
Meet The iGrill Family of Thermometers
I'm not sure what the range is, it may not be enough for what you are wanting. There are several remote thermometers available such as the Maverick 733 but most of the time the range is fairly limited.
