We traveled a lot in our first year of ownership. Our brake and wdh issues were the worst. We weren't anywhere near the dealership that we signed papers with... but Jayco made sure that we saw someone somewhere to get our issues worked out under warranty.

Keep in mind... if you can't get to your dealer, call Jayco for authorization to get to someone locally and deal with your warranty issue. Also! Make sure EVERYTHING that you find/issues under warranty is documented with Jayco under your VIN number.

Hope this helps

This sounds like an industry issue, which is sad. We all bought our RV's for enjoyment and a bunch of these dealers couldn't care less. Warranty work should be performed under warranty by an authorized dealer, it should not matter where it was purchased. But since RV dealerships are not franchises in the same respect as car dealerships, we will have to deal with the slimy ones, and the less than motivated ones, when we have to. Knock on wood my TT has not had any issues, but based on my purchase experience, I'd be leery with service as well. But, at the same time the tech who prepped my TT and did my walkthru was awesome so, I guess its hit and miss.

Did you notify Jayco that they will not help you being a Jayco store. We bought ours about 3 hours away and needed a lot of work done and the local guy took care of it all for us. What usually happens though is you don't get first priority over there customers that actually bought there units from them.
