Window

What are these windows called and how in the heck do you open them with my arthritic thumbs. Ours are so tight that it is almost impossible to open them. We wiggle them back and forth..what a struggle.

Looks like single hung RV window. I agree they are difficult to operate.

Might try spraying the track with white litheum grease.
Might also try some plumbers joint compound to keep those traps from working loose.
Kind of like lock-tite.

Also, if the ring ijn the bottom is spinning, it needs to be tightened too.
It screw into a piece on the bottom side to sandwich the sink bottom.
Again, use some teflon tape or joint compound.
I put the handle part of pliers into strainer while holding bottom piece to tighten.
